College Magazine Cover Analysis

This magazine cover is a quite positive magazine cover. The Master Head is large in size, which makes the title stand out on the shelves. On the front there is a man holding books, which represents education, and that the college themselves provide extra learning support. Also, the man on the front is happy which suggests college is a fun and supportive place too.

The man also being black makes it suggest that college is a place of equality and friendship, and the crucifix on the man’s necklace shows that any religious or non-religious people can all get along in college.

The lifestyle selling line makes it feel like you can be a part of college life and be a part of equality and good education.

The main cover line and other cover lines suggest that all the topics are aimed at students thinking or going to college at the time. The cover title lines tell the audience (students) about what kind of activities you can do, how to have a little bit of money lying around, new technology fit for education and fashion tips.

The barcode is out of the way on the left to give more space for the main subject, which is the man.

The splat on the right makes people draw attention because the magazine in the most parts looks green and then there is a bit of pink that stands out. This makes the reader catch the pink and it makes them want to read on and take a look through the magazine.
